This is the beginning of healing…feel what you long to feel.  Don’t submerge it.  Don’t deny it.  Don’t ignore it.  Let it be. If you don’t it will sit beneath the surface and wait for you.  A trigger moment to surface.  An inopportune time to rear its ugly head.  What is it in your past, or present that you don’t want to feel?  Write about it.  Cry if you want to.  Get angry.  It’s alright.  It will only release as we allow ourselves the opportunity to feel it.  There is no right or wrong way.  Just get it out.  The pain, the hurt, the frustration, the anger won’t last forever.  There is a light, a process of healing.  If you need help working through these buried emotions, please reach out.  There are many who can help!  Coaches, therapists, counselors, even a close friend.  Just Feel.
