During the last eight days on the 9-Day System, you’ve been focused on finding the right nutrient balance to help improve your body’s cleansing ability to achieve optimum health.

While nutritional balance is important, it’s also essential to find a balance between healthy activity and rest.
We’ve discussed doing 20–30 minutes of moderate exercise during your Shake Days. Exercise helps boost metabolism, which aids your body in healthy fat burning. If you have not exercised regularly during the last few months, you may want to start exercising after you’ve completed your first 9-Day System.
The flip side of exercising regularly is taking time to rest and rejuvenate after exercise. You should also nourish your body with water, protein and the healthy carbohydrates in the form of fruits and vegetables to help the body recover and prepare for the next exercise session.
